EDA is important because it:
• Helps understand the dataset including its structure, main features, types of variables and provides context and insights into the data, which can inform subsequent analysis.
• Helps identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing values in the data, ensuring that the analysis is based on accurate and clean data.
• Reveals patterns, trends, and relationships within the data, which can be crucial for developing hypotheses and guiding further analysis.

The key metrics considered in this project are total number of customers, the total number of customers who have churned (attrition), the attrition rate, and the number of new customers.
